Lulek – Drgania.

The Metallic Groove

Packaging

Challenge

Designing the physical packaging for Drgania ("Vibrations"), the solo album by Wrocław-based music producer Łukasz Lulek. The project required translating a deeply experimental, acoustic tracklist—built around rare instruments like gongs, waterphones, and singing bowls—into a visual experience that mirrors the raw nature of sound

Strategy

The strategy focuses on capturing the literal meaning of Drgania. By treating the cover art as a shifting, vibrating sculpture, the design gives an organic presence to acoustic resonance, bridging the gap between ancient, rare instruments and modern experimental production.

Identity

The identity relies on a contrast between raw texture and minimalist layouts. The front cover features a complex, metallic 3D form, capturing the concept of an acoustic vibration frozen in time. The back sleeve shifts to a clean, sandy-beige grid. It utilizes a sharp typography printed in a muted earth tone, keeping the tracklist and credits legible without interrupting the aesthetic of the vinyl release.

Outcome

The final packaging turns the release of Drgania into a collector's art object. The design bridges the gap between raw acoustic experimentation and modern collector aesthetics—giving audiophiles a physical artifact that feels just as textured as the music itself.
